Tangible assets are vital in manufacturing and industrial settings. Appraisers play a crucial role in determining the value of production equipment, assembly lines, specialised tools, and other assets. Companies in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, energy, and construction rely on appraisers to make informed financial decisions.

Insurance firms require tangible asset appraisals to determine accurate replacement values, coverage limits, and claim settlements. By working with insurance companies, you can assess asset values and provide essential information for risk management and policy underwriting.

Appraisers with expertise in tangible asset valuation are highly sought after by auction houses and liquidation firms. You can assist in estimating the fair market value of assets before auctions, facilitating smooth transactions, and ensuring fair pricing for buyers and sellers.

Government bodies, including tax authorities, regulatory agencies, and customs departments, often require tangible asset appraisals for taxation, auditing, import/export, or legal purposes. Your expertise can help agencies make informed decisions and ensure regulatory compliance.

Large corporations and asset management firms may employ tangible asset appraisers as part of their valuation teams. Your expertise can help assess asset values for mergers and acquisitions, financial planning, and asset lifecycle management.

If you have a background in real estate appraisals and an interest in tangible assets, then tangible asset appraisals could be a natural extension of your skill set. This field offers the opportunity to work with a variety of assets and determine their value. It is an untapped market with limitless potential for success.
All you need to get started is this course and an open mind. Everything you need to learn from understanding the fundamentals, inspecting the equipment, valuing the equipment, marketing yourself to the client, and the equipment, as well as all the forms you need, are in this course.
We say the training takes about 3 weeks if you put your nose to the grindstone; however, it depends on you. If it takes 6 weeks, then that's ok too. When you go through the course and understand it, then it's just a matter of following the marketing aspect of the course and your off and running.
Patrick and I do this in real life along with other students. Depending if this is a part-time thing, you could make $8,000-$12,000 a month. Some of our students who do this full-time make $45,000-$60,000 per month. It all depends. We have personally had $50,000-$75,000 months. What you put in is what you will get out. This all can be automated to free up more time and be scalable.
If you are still doing real estate or your other sales position, you can implement this in and then decide if this is something you are fine with doing part-time or making it your full career/business. It is common for other real estate and sales professionals to only sell a couple of these a month and keep doing what they are doing. It is also something that many of these sales professionals decide to go all into and make very successful.
